Our Service StyleWe have a traditional service with the ELW Hymnal and follow the various settings and liturgies within. We follow a standard service of a Gathering, Word, Meal and Sending.

What we Offer |
Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday! All baptized persons are welcome to partake in the meal together!
On the first Sunday of the month our Choir sings. This choir, headed up by Dorothy Blackburn is a non-traditional choir. The choir sits with their family and does not wear robes. The choir is just a group of people that enjoy sharing the good news! We welcome all to join in! The third Sunday of the month is our Children's Sunday. This is the day that the children assist in all areas of the worship! They will greet, usher, read and acolyte. This is also the day the Sunday School Children's Bell Choir will perform. New in 2018 we are offering a summer worship series from June 7 through August 30th beginning at 6:30 p.m. |
What to Expect |
At First Evangelical, we expect nothing more than people that want to Worship. Young and old, quiet and not so quiet. We are more concerned on if you are with us than what you are wearing. We have a laid back church family that is ready to meet you! Children are VERY welcome in our sanctuary during services! However, we do have nursery/toy room with a speaker so you can go in and still be a part of the service.
